Sunday Drive...home

We are home!!!

Bitter Sweet...it was sweet not being in the car and on the road

but knowing we started school and day care again made it a little bitter:)

Over all it was a great time.

Along the 7 hour drive home we made a few

"stretch your legs stops"

One stop was to the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site.

Elaine (of all people) found this huge lizard on the rock. It about killed

the boys not to be able to get closer to the big thing .

The rocks were neat. They were all drawn on... kind of like a scrap book of their life

This just shows some of the painted rocks.

This sign was a welcome sight even if it did mean we

were only half way home. After the checkpoints (4 total) 1 State and 3 Border

and many, many miles and hours we got home around 7pm just in time to get ready for bed.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on our trip.

I think we have decided to go North

(California or Oregon) next spring

Can't wait!!!

And next time your should just keep on driving east!!!! ;) There is SO much in this big giant state to see and do!!! Your beautiful family is ALWAYS welcome!

Psalm 139

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tougue you know it completely, O LORD. You hem me in-behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wounderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. This Psalm of David has blessed me so much during my life...good times and heartbreaking times...can you just picture God holding us in His great big hands like a child holds a treasure for safe keeping? Or Him just sitting there thinking about us and waiting for us to talk to Him? He has time for each of us...why is it so hard to give Him our time? The one who created us? And knows what we are going to say before we say the words... Oh Lord please let them be the correct words!! Thank you my LORD for loving me and thinking of me even though I am as filthy rags. Thank you... for making me clean as pure snow through Jesus.
