Fun Fun Fun!!

The last 5 years we have gone to Uncle Pat and Aunt Jenny's for Trick-or-Treating. The past 2 years we have had a super fun day playing games with our food...

making Crafts

This year the Schertz family was back with the Darr's and Clark's... 8 kids in all...

as soon as I get a good picture of them all I will post it but I will list what they were.

Darr Kids:

Jacob...Knight

Annika...Princess

Kali...Ladybug

Schertz Kids:

Mason...Robot (Beep Beep broken robot:)

Parker...Robot

Clark Kids:

Elaine...Baseball Player

and Trevor.....

was a stick man

The flash on my camera made his costume stand out perfectly.

It was fun hearing the little stories the kids told us about each house (mostly Annika)

Mason did loose his robot head and Parker took the cutest costume "award"

One part of the evening warmed my heart...

After trick-or-treating we went back to Uncle Pat's & Aunt Jenny's for hot drinks and candy peeking. Aunt Jenny had given out all her treats so the Clark's took Elaine's & Trevor's candy and gave it out to the candy seeking kids still coming to the door:) I am so proud that they thought of others...they didn't even pick out their favorites first.

I know it is only candy but it is a glimpse into the great kids they are...and the adults they are becoming.

Psalm 139

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tougue you know it completely, O LORD. You hem me in-behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wounderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. This Psalm of David has blessed me so much during my life...good times and heartbreaking times...can you just picture God holding us in His great big hands like a child holds a treasure for safe keeping? Or Him just sitting there thinking about us and waiting for us to talk to Him? He has time for each of us...why is it so hard to give Him our time? The one who created us? And knows what we are going to say before we say the words... Oh Lord please let them be the correct words!! Thank you my LORD for loving me and thinking of me even though I am as filthy rags. Thank you... for making me clean as pure snow through Jesus.
